Es Vedrà

Es Vedrà is a dramatic rocky islet rising from the Mediterranean Sea off Ibiza’s southwestern coast, near Cala d’Hort. The uninhabited limestone formation is part of the protected natural landscape of the Parc de Cala d’Hort, Cap Llentrisca i Sa Talaia and is one of Ibiza’s most recognizable coastal landmarks. Es Vedrà reaches roughly 380 meters above sea level, creating a prominent silhouette from viewpoints along the nearby shore. The surrounding waters and smaller islets form an important habitat for marine and bird life, while the cliffs and exposed rock give the area a distinctly rugged character.

Cala de Sant Vicent

Cala de Sant Vicent is a coastal resort on the northeastern side of Ibiza, centered on a broad sandy beach enclosed by wooded hills and rocky slopes. The bay faces a sheltered section of the Mediterranean, giving the beach relatively calm water and a clear view across the surrounding coastline. A promenade follows much of the shore, with restaurants, cafés, and small shops close to the sand. The area also retains connections with traditional Ibiza through nearby farmland, pine-covered hills, and the whitewashed church of Sant Vicent de sa Cala, located inland above the bay.

Cala Saladeta

Cala Saladeta is a small sandy cove on Ibiza’s western coast, reached by a footpath from the larger Cala Salada near Sant Antoni de Portmany. Sheltered by rocky hills and pine-covered slopes, the cove has clear, shallow Mediterranean water and a relatively undeveloped shoreline. Its compact beach is separated from Cala Salada by a rocky headland, while the surrounding coastal landscape provides views across the bay and nearby forested hills. There are few facilities directly at Cala Saladeta, so visitors generally bring their own supplies and use the paths connecting the two coves.

Old Ibiza Town

Old Ibiza Town, known as Dalt Vila, occupies the fortified hill above the harbor of Ibiza Town and forms the historic core of the city. Its stone walls, narrow lanes, whitewashed buildings, and steep stairways create a compact district overlooking the Mediterranean. The fortified enclosure is part of the UNESCO-listed Archaeological, Monumental and Natural Complex of Ibiza, recognized for the interaction between the island’s Phoenician, later Mediterranean, and modern heritage. Within the walls are landmarks including Ibiza Cathedral, the Episcopal Palace, the Almudaina Castle, and Plaza de Vila, while viewpoints along the ramparts look across the harbor and surrounding coastline.

Santa Eulalia Del Río

Santa Eulalia del Río is a coastal town on the eastern side of Ibiza, built around the only river on the island and a sheltered bay along the Mediterranean. Its waterfront combines a sandy beach, marina, promenade, restaurants, and small shops, while the historic center rises toward the whitewashed Puig de Missa. The fortified church of Puig de Missa is one of Santa Eulalia’s defining landmarks, standing above the town with views across the coast. The surrounding municipality includes smaller beaches, rural landscapes, pine-covered hills, and traditional farmhouses, giving the area a character distinct from Ibiza’s busier resort centers.
